Solid timber treads

Using solid timber for both risers and treads is also a popular and hard wearing alternative.Popular Australian hardwoods that are used in the treads include Spotted Gum and Blackbutt. Other species are possible subject to mill availability. All timber sourced from certified, sustainable mills.

*Note – large landing areas will be installed as planks to avoid shrinkage issues where possible.
